What is Love??
Many search for the answer to the question…What is Love? For the longest I just knew I had the answer but in actuality is there simply one answer…Who determines what answer is correct and what is not? I have always heard the saying don’t go to a person who is single and take advice—because they are single for a reason…hmm…as I sit and ponder…why should you go to a person who is in a relationship?? They can be just as if not more naïve than the single friend. Love is what you make it ultimately…but it goes hand in hand with trust, honesty, loyalty, determination, friendship and so many more adjectives. But at the end of the day IT IS JUST A WORD that many put great emphasis on. You say you love a person but the minute they do something you don’t like or the minute they cheat you’re so quick to say “Fuck them…I don’t even love that n***a/b***h” hmm…well if you can be so quick to FALL OUT of love were you ever really in love?
My answer would be no...Love is a continuous change for the better--it is not stagnant. You may say well Oni B who are you to tell us we are in love or not if you have yet to truly experience it for yourself...well let me tell you from all that I have experienced I know without a doubt love never betrays you, never turns on you, it is understanding and not
judgmental. Everyone wants to experience and feel love but not many want to take out the time to work for love. I do not believe you can be in love with a person after a week, after a month (just my opinion)—you do not even know them just yet. In essence as I stated above Love is what you and the other make it.
